Reflections of the past- dock follies

Over the years many stories have emerged about thefts from the docks inNorth Woolwich, Silvertown, Canning Town and Custom House.

Here are two from over 100 years ago – from the old East Ham Recorder newspaper, which became the Newham Recorder in 1968.
